Great Sword
Slow, heavy swings and charged slashes that land like a falling wall.
How it playsThe Great Sword is about patience and one huge hit. You wind up a Charged Slash, chain it into a Strong Charged Slash and finish with a True Charged Slash. The Tackle lets you carry your charge forward without getting knocked out of it. It’s slow, but every swing counts, and it suits hit-and-run hunting. In WildsIts Focus Strike, Perforate, drags the blade across a wound. The Offset Rising Slash is an upward slash you can charge. Time it against a monster’s attack to knock it back. You can block with the flat of the blade, and that guard can start a Power Clash.Often recommended as a good first weapon.
